Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, share and protect personal information — and the rights you have under GDPR and CCPA.
Last updated: January 1, 2026
This policy is provided as a starting template and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before launch to ensure it reflects your actual data practices and jurisdiction.
1. Who we are
LeadsListPro ("we", "us", "our") operates a business-to-business prospecting platform that lets customers search, segment and export contact records. This policy explains how we handle personal information for both our website visitors/customers and the individuals whose records appear in our databases.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, company, phone and password (hashed) when you register.
- Billing data: credit-purchase and transaction records. Payment details are processed by our payment provider (PayPal) and never stored on our servers.
- Usage data: searches, saved audiences, exports, credits consumed, IP address, device/browser and audit logs.
- Database records: contact information (such as names, postal addresses, phone numbers, emails and business/demographic attributes) sourced from publicly available and lawfully licensed third-party sources.
3. How we use information
- Provide, secure and improve the platform and process your transactions.
- Authenticate users, enforce credit limits and prevent abuse and fraud.
- Provide customer support and send service-related communications.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we process personal data under one or more of: performance of a contract, our legitimate interests (operating a B2B data service and securing it), your consent (e.g. analytics cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your account data. We share data with service providers who help us operate (hosting, payment processing, email delivery) under contractual confidentiality obligations, and where required by law. Business records you export are delivered to you as the customer and are subject to the Terms of Service.
6. Data retention
We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, accounting and security purposes, then delete or anonymize it.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords, role-based access control, optional two-factor authentication, audit logging and least-privilege database access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Your rights
GDPR (EEA/UK): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. CCPA/CPRA (California): the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, without discrimination.
To exercise any right — including opting out or requesting deletion of a record from our databases — contact privacy@leadslistpro.com or use our contact form. We will verify and respond within the timeframes required by law.
9. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site and, with your consent, analytics cookies to understand usage. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. See your browser settings to manage cookies at any time.
10. Children
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
